About Us

Georgia in Dublin was created in December 2009 by mother and daughter team, Nicola Orriss and Georgia Scott. We are united in our love and appreciation of elegance and functionality – why have one without the other!

We wanted to create an alternative to boxy rain jackets and builder’s high viz vests. We envisaged a range of outdoor clothing that women could wear cycling, horse riding, walking to work, to the theatre, wherever, whatever the weather.

We wanted to create an alternative to boxy rain jackets and builder’s high viz vests. We envisaged a range of outdoor clothing that women could wear cycling, horse riding, walking to work, to the theatre, wherever, whatever the weather.

We also wanted to help elevate and celebrate the bike as a means of transport for women as well as men.

Nicola brings her design flare and interest in the 18th century to the project and Georgia her keen interest in design and an eagerness to realise a new enlightenment for outdoor clothing!

Georgia in Dublin products are designed and the prototypes made in Ireland. The soles of the Leggits and jacket fasteners are made from recycled inner tubes which are collected from local bike shops in Dublin.

Local deliveries are made by bike courier. The final products are produced in a family run factory in Poland. Doing right by the environment is at the core of our company ethos.
